So, is it just the right host (pardon the pun) for you? Does Just Host deliver?
Well, we found that actually it does – and does so very well. Here is a review:
PROS:
One should not sign up for a host just because they are cheap, because the cheapest is not always the best buy. Yet, with Just Host, they have somehow managed to create the cheapest and certainly one of the best web hosting solutions, with one of the cheapest plans around and you get one of the most reliable shared hosting packages on the internet. So full marks to Just Host for that. At $3.45 per month for all those features, you absolutely can’t beat their offer!
The Just Host technical support team is like the Hostgator team – always there – 24/7 – extremely helpful, and again – pretty knowledgeable too.
Pretty much all the hosting providers are offering unlimited packages nowadays, and competition is stiff. So all considered, the uptime factor is something that is important. The Just Host uptime factor is 99.9%.
The freebies they throw in – like free advertising credits with Google, Yahoo and Myspace – are all pretty attractive again – considering the small price you are paying for the hosting package.

There is also a bulletin board (message forum) and they have live support in the cPanel.
CONS:
There are not really many cons, except one wonders why with just a difference of 2 extra free domains, the price for the Premium plan is $5.50 per month more.
The Just Host e-mail autoresponder is similar to that of Hostgator. Neither autoresponders are by any means anywhere near as powerful as the ones you get in GVO, which allows you to use them as powerful marketing tools, but rather, these are functional tools with simple messaging. So if you are going to be getting into serious internet marketing, you might want to consider GVO account.
On the other hand, for the price you are paying with Just Host, it’s really unfair to expect the sort of functionality in their autoresponders as at GVO.
The instant chat window at the Just Host is manned by a virtual assistant. This is helpful to some extent, but it’s limited. As far as this aspect is concerned, Hostgator is really fantastic – with live support 24/7 – manned by live people. Nonetheless, the Just Host support is very good and they know how to take care of their customers.
OUR RECOMMENDATION:
Start out with the basic plan at $3.45 per month. If you have a domain already, you can host it at Just Host, otherwise, take advantage of their free domain for life offer, and register one. Well, even if you have a domain already, you may as well get another one since you are getting it free. A domain is handy to have – and you never know – the next time you come around, that domain name might be already taken! So strike while the iron is hot! If you get an idea, it’s best to do it right away.
